    Reason for choice:
His serious, masculine, yet innocent face is perfect for the character, as is his strong stocky-ish build.
    Best Points:
He holds poses like a champ. If I set him down he will stay standing for days without support. Easily the most stable of all my dolls. I love his face as well and the sculpting of his body.
    Worst Points:
He holds poses well, but getting him into them can be rather tricky since his joints can be hard to move. Not helped by how insanely tight he's strung.

"No matter what, I can’t just turn my back. I would never be able to live with myself."

Kestrel Knight is the protagonist of my novel Our Secret Storm. Born the bastard son of a royal courtier, Kestrel grew up expecting no greater fate than becoming a soldier. Everything changes when his mother dies and Kestrel is forced to take her place at court. Not only does the naive, straightforward Kestrel have trouble fitting into the court of schemers, he also has to guard a deadly secret. While he pretends to be an energos, part of the dominant caste of magic users, in reality he can cast powerful magic without needing a bonded partner.

Kestrel has a pure heart and innate sense of justice, but he's terrified of revealing his secret. Because of this, he tries his best to avoid attention. Easier said than done when everyone at court wants to manipulate him for one agenda or another, including the prince's consort, Aramy Basquiale. For his part, Kestrel finds himself drawn to the mysterious Aramy, and begins to find in Aramy the understanding and acceptance he's longed for his entire life. But does Aramy feel the same about him, or is Kestrel just walking into his trap?
