Story: "Pip" is one of a group of orphaned teenage boys kidnapped to work as errand boys aboard a pirate ship. He has no knowledge of his past - except for his real name (which he keeps to himself - thus the "Pip" nickname). Aboard the ship, one of the pirates took him under his wing but that mentor was murdered one night so now "Pip" is determined to find out who did it. After he and the other errand boys were forced to kidnap a boy who is not an orphan, "Pip" falls in love with the boy and finds himself wondering what life would be like outside of the pirate world.
