Reason for choice:

The Fennec fox has a speacial meaning on its own which pairs nicely with her name and its meaning as well. That and I just realized she would be a perfect Kinsugi . I also like the style of nympheas sculpts.

Best Points:

I like the uniqueness of her sculpt and the wide range potential it has because of the simplicity of it . I believe it gives the artist more room for creativity for different looks in terms of a faceup , verses say a sculpt with more defined facial features. Like sculpted eyelids because you can play more around with the less define features ,making the eyes look totally different. I feel like you could go either more cartoon /anime style or realistic with her . Just depending on the faceup you decided to give her. She also does have good stability and can stand perfectly fine on her own with out a stand or being sueded. Although ,I do prefer to eventually hot glue seude a few joints to make it even better. The real tan is also a really gorgeous color and the magnets for the face plate and ears are nice and strong. I like her size and weight and the quality of the resin used for her . im also loving certain qualitys about her sculpt . like the shape of her body , especially her pear shape and peach shaped butt.

Worst Points:

She has limited posability with her head and legs. Her head can't really tilt in either direction too much if at all in others. As far as her legs they limit her from sitting properly. The hip joint area design limits movement .So she cant do a perfect L sitting position.

Im still in the process of finishing her character. I will come back with more details later about her and her sculpt later when shes more completed.
I still want to tweak her faceup and body blush, add a few more scars and some gold tattoos or cracks . As well as find the right eyes, wig and outfit for her.

Name story:

Kintsugi- is the practice of taking what was broken and making it more beautiful with gold or silver filigree . like broken pottery. It represents that no matter the hardships or struggles we go through , even if we feel damaged. It doesnt make our life any uglier. Its our story, our scars help tell it. They're also what makes us stronger and who we are. Imperfections are what makes us unique and beautiful.

Kintsugi is my reminder of that. She is strong and fearless and beautiful because of what shes been through. She has learned to better self love and appreciate her flaws for they mean more then what they appear .How to pick herself back up even when it feels hard .She is Gorgeous even with all her scars and imperfections, infact its those same scars and imperfections that make her so beautiful. Shes incredible. She is my daily reminder of that and to never forget to be greatful. She is like a gratitude rock but instead of keeping her in my jeans pocket she is left out where I can see her each and every day and be reminded of these lessons.
