Lady Anne St. John-Smythe

Maker:
Iplehouse
Head Sculpt:
Ashanti
Skintone:
1st Release Ebony
Body:
old style EID Woman large bust
Sex:
Female
  • Face-up artist(s):
    Iplehouse 1st Release Ashanti default
    Date of acquisition:
Originally joined us in 2012 but departed too soon; finally replaced at end of 2014
    Provenance:
Came from a truly lovely lady via ZoZ. :)
    Reason for choice:
1st Release Ashanti is another of those dolls I loved at first sight. I pined for my Anne two years before I found another.
    Best Points:
Gorgeous skin tone and the Ashanti head sculpt w/default face-up make this doll one of my all-time favourites.
    Worst Points:
She is missing her flat feet. Due to her skin tone, replacements from Iple are nowhere near close in colour. She gets less use than she otherwise would since she's wearing her repaired original heel feet, and I prefer the flat 95% of the time due to better stability.

    Eyeco 13mm Smoke
    Wig:

    usually more contemporary or formal
    Key fashion accessory:
Lady Anne does like her jewels.

She was always Anne to me, right from the start.
    Character age:
same age as Her Royal Dollness
    Character gender:
    female
    Offsite roleplay:
This doll's character is not available for offsite roleplay.
Anne and Hue have been lifelong friends, having grown up together and attending the same schools and social events. Anne departed for an extended tour of the Mediterranean shortly before the attempted coup at Worthington Castle, and she was unable to safely return for some time.

Her long-awaited re-arrival was cause for great celebration...and now she and Hue are working feverishly to bring Anne's true love to the Castle, as well.

  • My original Anne was medium bust, but she returned as large bust...so apparently has some interesting stories to tell about her Mediterranean sojourn.
