Reason for choice:

I bought the head because I was having a hard time saving up for a full doll and I wanted instant gratification. I initially intended to have her on an Angel of Dream 1/4 boy body but I decided to make her a girl when I saw her head in person. After saving some more and getting some cash for my birthday, I bought her body. I had been thinking of getting the single jointed body because it was cheaper, but I had the money so I bought the double jointed one, not realizing there was more than one bust size available for those bodies. I decided I preferred the smaller bust anyway and I am happy with my choice! Now I have a lovely semi-androgynous girl, who is absolutely perfect in my eyes and a perfect first doll!

Best Points:

I love her sweet smile, and her posability is great too!

Worst Points:

She's mellowed out a bit because I got her in WS. I don't regret it, but WS dolls do yellow faster, it seems.

Name story:

Laika was a placeholder name for a very different character I had in mind from what she actually turned out to be, but it was my favorite name and it stuck. No regrets!

Character age:

18-infinite, but can be aged up or down depending on setting/plot in roleplay. Her story covers her child through young adult years and then eternity. I tend to RP her as a young adult since that's the last age range most humans see her.

Character gender:

Female, possibly non-binary; explores this a lot in her college years, tends to use she/her pronouns but it varies.

Laika is the main character(or one of them) in my cOREverse story, with her arc tentatively titled "Laikapathy".

Incredibly simplified summary below, including spoilers of some major plot points so be warned!!

-Weak and sickly as a young child, she is provided with prosthetic replacements for all parts of her body, eventually fully integrated into an android body meant for military uses. This doesn't work out for various reasons that are secret for now.

-She spends some time as a college student at MoonUn.IT, aka the Lunar University Institute of Technology, and develops a relationship with a fellow student who goes by Halogen.

-After graduation she disappears and those who knew her assume she has gone off to do secret work for the government, because it seemed like the sort of thing she would end up doing. Halogen just lets her go, due to self doubt and certain other circumstances, but regrets this later.

-Ultimately she is tested by a supernatural entity, and due to various reasons, is absorbed into that entity.

-Halogen eventually attempts to find her after realizing that something is very wrong...

I've written a lot more detailed stuff than this but this is all you get until I actually write out the full story or I know you well enough to discuss it in detail.
The story itself is very long and complex and divided into various stages. What I wrote here barely scratches the surface, and I may take it down later since there are some pretty major spoilers when it comes down to it.
