I am Lawrence's first owner. He was purchased during his first sale period.

Reason for choice:

After deciding the roles for Leo and Edan as a couple, I couldn't resist creating an overprotective older brother that isn't impressed with their relationship. With the introduction of an older brother sculpt in the Carved Heritage series, I couldn't resist making it his sculpt. I loved Lawrence's sculpt so much and the face up with the scar was perfect for the character I was creating in my mind.

Best Points:

Law's features are stunning, he is such a handsome sculpt. I love how he turned out.

Worst Points:

I was saddened to find when Law arrived, that he had some really bad scratch marks over his body where the seams were overly sanded in the production process. Sadly the light patches are quite obvious at times.

I liked Lawrence's original name, it just suits him. I prefer to shorten his name to Law most of the time however.

Law has two incarnations, his past life and modern day. His personality differs a little with each version.

Past Life

Lawrence is from a family of nobility, but he is also a well known and respected merchant in his own right who can easily get by without the use of his family's name or influence. He lost his younger brother Edan when he was still a child and he has never gotten over the loss. This loss led to an overprotective nature with all his loved ones, which is one of the endearing qualities that made his wife Lottie fall in love with him. Although they both travel and are apart for weeks on end, Law is very passionate with his bride from the moment he sees her until the moment they must part once more.

When Law is reunited with Edan assisted by his friend Leo, he is at once overjoyed. Unfortunately he quickly learns of their relationship and is extremely opposed to it. Much of his time now with his brother is spent interfering in his relationship with Leo. His overprotective nature may well be getting out of hand.

Modern Day

Law is a part time male model and theatre actor. His scar from an unfortunate accident in youth is his signature feature and he refuses to cover it in any way. His wife Lottie is an heiress from an aristocratic family and does not work herself. She is smitten with Law to the point where she often gets jealous of anyone he is spending time with other than herself, including if it only for work. Although usually sweet, Lottie's occasional diva moments can only be quelled by Law's words.

Law is not happy about the relationship between his younger brother Edan and Professor Leo, especially as they had once been student and teacher. He believes the older man is only taking advantage of his naieve brother. Edan is not as innocent as he believes however and often scolds his older brother for his interferance, letting him know (more than once in sordid detail) what he chooses to do with his lover, much to Law's horror. Not wanting to upset Edan, Law often grovels for forgiveness. He's a bit more of a push over than his Past Life self.
