Provenance:

Llana was originally purchased as a full Dollmore Momo, second hand from eBay, in 2006. Her body was later replaced with the original Dollzone girl body, in NS-P, which was purchased new in 2007. Then, after the release of their first double jointed body, with a Dollzone NS-Y body purchased second hand in 2010, which she still has.

Reason for choice:

Llana was originally purchased as something of an impulse. I wanted a doll her size, and she was cute and a good price point for 2006. Her body was later replaced because I wanted a more mature doll, but was attached to her character, and then later replaced again for better posing and a better color match.

Best Points:

I love, love her body and how well it poses. The match to her (very yellowed) head isn't too bad either. I love how unique her face sculpt is, and how drastically different it is depending on how it's painted.

Worst Points:

Llana's head is from the era before s-hooks sat in the neck. It hooks to her headcap. The back of her head has been chewed up by the s-hook and I will avoid having to remove it at all costs (for the sake of my fingers). There's also some marbling in the resin on her forehead, and a rough patch over one eye that only shows up when you attempt to give her eyeshadow.

Llana is a young woman who was sent to live in at her aunt's manor house at a young age. Her father was a deadbeat, and her mother died when she was small. She lives in this huge house practically all by herself, rattling around and finding what diversions she can to entertain herself. Instead of attending school she has private tutors, and her home is quite deep in the countryside. Long rides in the woods, days in the gardens, hours spent curled up in her aunt's library, and the ability to buy nearly anything her heart desires ensures that her days are full and joyful. Her aunt is rarely at home, off on long business trips for weeks at a time, but when she's there they make sure to take time together. Llana is a kind young woman, eager for any adventure she can find or invent (which she's quite talented at).

Most of her friends are the manor staff, but in the woods near her home she encountered a strange young man, an elf, far from home and determined to make his own way in the world. While Llana harbors a desire to see their close friendship become something more, Loren remains seemingly oblivious to the tumult of a young lady's heart.
