After the death of his wife Lady Marguerite, Lord Nolan was befriended/comforted by (and then fell in love with) Queen Fiona. Once found out, this led to a feud with King Edward III. Lord Nolan has two sons - the level-headed romantic Morgan and the spoiled Rowe.
