Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases. This ban does not impact any dolls by Dollshe ordered by November 8, 2023. Any dolls ordered after November 8, 2023, regardless of the date the sculpt was released, are banned from this forum as are any dolls released under his new or future companies including but not limited to Club Coco BJD.     Reason for choice:
    Lua was the result of a long search for a boy doll. I got him from eBay and was initially unsure whether I wanted him because I liked him, or because I just wanted a boy doll. In the end, I'm glad I went for him, because I fell in love the second I second I saw him! He's just so cute!
    Best Points:
    I love his little smile and his pretty green eyes. I just find everything about him adorable, and I really like the hair I chose for him too. He reminds me of the gentlemanly little brother type XD
    Worst Points:
    Honestly, the only problem is that he came to me with some staining on his head from an old wig and I haven't been brave enough to remove it yet. It's barely noticeable though. Oh, and I'm still trying to find shoes for him :P

    I wasn't sure whether to go for black or brown / ginger hair for Lua, but in the end I decided to go with what matched his eyebrows, and I think it suits him.
  • Name story:
    Well according to my research prior to getting him, Darae means "child of the moon" or "moon child". Therefore, I looked for translations of the word "Moon" in different languages, looking for one that sounded cute / vaguely masculine. I settled on the Portugese one, "Lua" because it sounded nice.

    Lua is the younger adoptive brother of my first doll, Bobbi.

    When I got Lua, Bobbi was NOT happy, and although shy around her new adoptive brother, she also harboured a slight resentment towards him. This gradually disappeared over time though, and following a mini-photoshoot when Lua got his hair, the two of them seemed to become better friends.

    Despite Bobbi's initial stand-offish behaviour towards him, Lua has been nothing but polite and respectful to her. I feel like he looks up to her slightly and (don't tell anyone else) may have a slight crush on her...

    With the addition of my newest doll, the two of them have banded together to collectively be jealous of him and are now closer than ever XD
