Reason for choice:

The head sculpt is just so sweet. And I allways wanted a Volks body, since I heard they are pretty good posers.

Best Points:

really sweet face and exceptional good movability/standing ratio.

Worst Points:

For my taste the Volks hands are a little big. I will most propably try to get some Luts hands for her.

I fell in love with the Mikhaila sculpt right away, but was a hold back, since their bodies don't really meet my taste. I'm really much into double joints and though I like wide hips on dolls the art body was a little to unrealistic for me.
So I decided to do my first hybrit. First the head was only available in normal skin (and sold out in snow white). Originally I wanted to put her on a Dollzone body, since they have the same neck size (and I like Dollzone's bodies) After some research I was sure that Leeke normal and Dollzone pink skin would not be a color mach. Being a little scared of color corection, I decided to wait for snow skin to be back in stock and maching it with DZ white skin, which happened this January. Since I'm just waiting for a Dollzone girl I thought I should wait for her to arrive and check how good the head fits on the body in size, before ordering the body, but then I saw the Volks body she has now on the marketplace in white skin. I allways wanted a Volks SD Midi body and this was a chance. I was a little concerned, that this head might not fit, since the neck size is the typical MSD and Slim MSD difference, but beeing sure I would find usage for it anyway, I ordered it. Being not new the body is slightly more yellow than the head, but with this amount of difference the color correction via faceup was actually easier, than I would have suspected.
And so I'm now happy owner of my Madeline. I will most prpably get her some less gigantic hands to blend in better with my other dolls.
