  • Face-up artist(s):
    para_chan214
    Body blushing artist(s):
    me
    Provenance:
    Direct from Impldoll
    Reason for choice:
    I wanted a larger doll similar in size and proportions to popular dolls such as Feeple65 and some of the Iplehouse offerings.
    Best Points:
    Really great detailing for such a relatively inexpensive doll. Substantial resin. I may complain about her ability to stand, but I really really love this doll.
    Worst Points:
    Thick ankles. Hard to stand (one shin is slightly shorter than the other). Features crossed leg elastics which make sitting very nice. Uncrossing the elastics make standing in a variety of poses easier, but makes sitting normally impossible.
    Her company faceup was rotten. Really masculine looking and not really very much like the images on Impldoll's site.
  • Eyes:
    light grey, sent from Impldoll
    Wig:
    Monique style #456 in carrot red
    Favourite colours:
    moss greens, pinks, deep blues
    Fashion style(s):
    Fashion forward, even with 1941 wartime rationing, or even more fashion forward post-war Dior styles.
    Key fashion accessory:
    A stylish hat
  • Name story:
    She is a Irish as they come, so I picked through Ireland's census to find pleasing names. Then I promptly Anglicized it, as she moved to Canada. I'm fighting her tendency to shorten it still further to 'Mags.' She exists mainly in my WW2 era dolly universe.
    Character age:
    mid 20s
    Character gender:
    Female
    Offsite roleplay:
    This doll's character is not available for offsite roleplay.
    Maighréad (Maggie) is a rural Ballycraigy, Antrim Co. farm girl, suspiciously good at snaring rabbits for the table. Surplus girl child, shipped off to her Ontario relatives.
    I'm including non-doll characters here (her family) to round out her bio.
