1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

    Date of acquisition:
    March 26th, 2018
    Provenance:
Second hand from BJD Addicts Facebook Group
    Reason for choice:
She is my first and highest grail doll. I had been window shopping this sculpt for exactly 3 years.
    Best Points:
Her precious little face and daintily sculpted hands and feet.
    Worst Points:
Her thigh peanuts can be very fussy, her legs go all over the place. Suedeing and wiring do help but needs to be updated periodically! Be gentle with this body!
March is one of my muse dolls! She is not tied to any story, and is just a vessel for me to express my creativity in other ways than art! She is also the character art for my current icon.

Fairies were a huge part of my childhood, so I was very drawn to fairy inspired tinies when I first started browsing BJDs. When I saw her name and face, I couldn't get her out of my head. The name Ivy has sentimental value for me as well, so I just knew it had to be her. I'd go back and look at her photos again, lurking sparse owner pictures and unboxing videos for years. I didn't expect her to fall right into my lap one day!! Her sale post was up on St. Patrick's Day (only the luckiest day possible!!) and I happened to find the post two days later... on my birthday. I also officially confirmed the sale of this doll at 3:19 am (My birthday o'clock, lmao) in the morning (and could not go to sleep for hours....) I really can't help but associate her with luck after all that! :clover

    Ebay (6mm)
    Wig:
    Me (Yarn, will redo eventually)
    Favourite colours:
pastel greens, muted dark greens, soft yellows, browns
    Fashion style(s):
Anything she can put together! Extremely "woodland fae" hodgepodge, wears flower petals and leaves for dresses, earthy and unrefined.
    Key fashion accessory:
    Tulle, potion bottles, legwarmers..
    ☆☆☆ Tumblr Tag x Pinterest Moodboard ☆☆☆

Her current look is still very much in it's early stages... I'm working on a set outfit and her wings.
  • Name story:
I always planned on naming her after my birth month, but I didn't plan on finding/buying her IN march as well... so of course, it couldn't be more perfect. Sometimes I accidentally still call her Ivy on accident, though.
    Character gender:
    Female (she/her)
    Offsite roleplay:
This doll's character is not available for offsite roleplay.
March is like any other fairy sighting- fleeting and sparkling. Never in one place for too long, she's skittish and easily distracted by the next interesting thing, even if it's just how light catches in a dewdrop one morning. She lives in a small cluttered little tree knot, where she sews her clothes and collects interesting things. She likes plants, soft rain, and the company of snails and squirrels. She's nearly non-verbal and very hesitant about socializing with other fairies. Still, she has a warm heart and goes out of her way to help someone in need.
