Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases. This ban does not impact any dolls by Dollshe ordered by November 8, 2023. Any dolls ordered after November 8, 2023, regardless of the date the sculpt was released, are banned from this forum as are any dolls released under his new or future companies including but not limited to Club Coco BJD.     Provenance:
    Both head and body were bought on DoA marketplace - head and body are from 2010 productions. Head bought from Gus251, body from leishaj777 (in 2013).
    Reason for choice:
    I adore the CP-designed Delf girl bodies, and especially the petite small-busted one.
    And, I discovered the A.I.R. Rune sculpt first, then realized that the Ruy was a "sleepy" or "dreaming" version, and since I have weakness for dreaming sculpts, I kept looking for more pics, as I was pretty much in love with it from the get-go.

    I was incredibly lucky to find the long-discontinued A.I.R. Ruy head on the marketplace, and for a super-low price too... It came to me in amazingly brand-new condition, and is now one of my absolute faves.

    This is Marion's 3rd version, and still my favourite. She has been a Souldoll Soulkid Miryu (my very first ABJD, ever), and a DollnDoll Loren.
    Best Points:
    Gorgeous sculpt! Great fit on the Delf girl body, making for a cute, petite, but feminine figure.
    Worst Points:
    Resin match could be better - the CP resin is pretty peachy in comparison to the lighter AIR resin.

    The body is single-jointed and has its usual Delf girl issues of kickiness, etc. However, I have sueded it, and added wires to the elbows, and this helps a lot.

    Way back in the 1980's I had a favourite TV show, called "Robin of Sherwood". Yup! Just dated myself, BIG TIME! :P

    So... When I got my very first ABJD doll, a girl, I named her Marion. This A.I.R. Ruy version is her 3rd incarnation.

    She's been around a long time and seen much.
    Currently, Marion owns/runs a large rooming house, with several tenants from different places and backgrounds... Not all from around this world.
    She's quite private, introverted, and comes across as conservative and old-fashioned. She keeps to herself, and lets the day-to-day stuff get take care of by one of her tenants.
    She's not close to anyone obvious, but Peregrin has clearly broken through her shell (he's good at that). And, of course, she has a very big soft spot for her only living family, her niece, Rose.

    Marion has a magical element, that stems from her very well-burned-and-buried, many years (centuries) ago past. No one really knows just how powerful, or to what extent it goes - probably not even Marion herself.
