Reason for choice:

She has a unique take on dolls and really stood out from other bjds. I was fascinated by the movable mouth, and possibly may be what started my elation with open-mouth sculpts.

Best Points:

Her faceup is really cute and plays up the puppet theme! But as stated before, the mouth mechanism is really cool and I have never seen it before on a bjd before.

The posing of the body is fantastic, really holds poses well and I love the movement range of the wrists, ankles, and legs.

Worst Points:

I think the bust on the doll is my least favorite. It's very lacking detail. The hands and feet could also be nicer in sculpting, but they work. This is the first generation body that Doll Leaves made for their 1/4 line, and looking at the new body they came out with, it seems they improved on this.

My first resin ball jointed doll, Mary is very special to me.
