Reason for choice:

I've always wanted a fantasy-colored doll, and when ResinSoul released their new line of deer centaurs, I just knew I needed one. Spring's slightly droopy, wide eyes are just the cutest!

Best Points:

Sculpted fur at the base of each hoof is gorgeous, and her horns are beautiful as well. Pink is soft and not too vibrant. And her EARS! Oh my goodness her ears.

Worst Points:

Very kicky. I had to wire her arms with armature wire to keep her from slapping herself in the face. Poseability isn't stellar.

Merriweather is to this day one of the best Christmas presents I've received. Major props to my mom for going through and ordering her straight from the company when she had never ordered a doll before and didn't know what to expect. As it is, my little deerling arrived to me safe and sound ♥

Unlike most of my dolls, Merri doesn't have one set look. She's going to be fun for trying on different wigs, eyes, and looks. Her character is on the younger side, too, so I get to design some of those sugary-sweet childlike looks I love so much.

Name story:

It took literal months to find a name for my deerling. I just kind of started calling her Merri after a while, and the name stuck.

Merriweather is a spring doe born in the dark of winter. She grew up in a fairy-tale forest among her own kind, but she simply loves humans, and she loves to visit human bakeries and restaurants to try all their delicious sweets. Her appearance might scare some people, but she doesn't mind. If you see a set of delicate hoof prints following a gently winding dirt path into town, it's likely that Merri has been there.
