Turns out her thigh joint has notches for keeping her knees pulled up, which further enhances her already-impressive range of motion. I was surprised to discover this when I tried re-stringing her, as I hadn't seen that information anywhere--not even on dDoll's own site.
- Face-up artist(s):
- Kittzel (me)
- Date of acquisition:
- Nov. 20, 2015
- Ordered from DreamingDoll's website
- Reason for choice:
- I liked how her sculpt falls in a nice middle-ground between realistic and stylized, mature and youthful, and I'd heard good things about the Elva 16 body's posability.
- Best Points:
- Versatility of her face sculpt; great range of motion on the body
- Worst Points:
- Her fingers are lumpy-looking and indelicate. Also, her lower knee joints don't have anything to lock against, so it's hard to make them hold poses. I'll eventually try to modify both points.
