Minato Vision is a Kitsune hailing from [name TBD - Japan-like nation in my fantasy story]. His village was raided when he was a child and he was kidnapped and kept as a pet by the wealthy leader of a secret criminal syndicate. After a few years, he escaped, disguised himself as a human, stowed away on a boat, and made his way overseas to Eternesea, where he named himself and was eventually adopted by a kindhearted family. Through hard work and determination, Minato eventually saved up for his own small ship, and now runs jobs across the sea, including exploring uncharted islands and taking care of unwanted monsters.

During one of his monster extermination requests, Minato realized that he needed an extra pair of hands and hired a skilled swordsman - the elegant, yet aloof Meta. Over time, Meta warmed up to Minato and the two fell deeply in love. Eventually, the two revealed their true selves to one another - Minato as a kitsune and Meta as a bejewelled one. Eventually, events lead to the two taking down the criminal syndicate that originally kidnapped Minato and a collaborative effort with his home country to restore his lost village. The pair now spend time between both Eternesea and [Country Name].

While Minato may enjoy the pirate aesthetic, he is not actually a pirate - his boat business is completely legitimate. He is a fair hand with a scimitar sword, however, as well as his innate kitsune magic. He also loves floral print hakamas, and tends to incorporate them into most of his outfits.
