The Mist- & Rain-Holder started out as a different character in my doll family.
She was a courtesan whose mother was disowned by her noble family and whose lover/patron was a cousin who sought to free her and instate her into the family by marrying her.

Cyathea was "retired" for a while–I've switched her out of the Spiritdoll body she used to be on and gave it to a Migidoll head when I went through a huge changeover of my doll family in 2012. And now, years later, Cyathea's back on a different body and shelled into a different character.
