Provenance:

Both a Twigling full doll and Iplehouse full doll were bought from the DoA marketplace.

I bought the Stargazer full doll from her previous owner, but I had a hard time bonding with her, because I was so afraid to change anything. Then my friends told me that the doll was now mine, and that I should make her like I wanted her to be, so I changed her and made my little pirate queen.

The body came from an Iplehouse nYID Asa doll that I had bought earlier. The two dolls simply switched bodies. After a while I ended up selling the Asa/twigling hybrid.

Her story takes place in 1657 in the Caribbean.

Her name is Morgan O’Malley (born 1627) but she is known as "The Lady Pirate". She is the leader of a pirate crew.
She was the daughter of two slaves at the British court, and when she was born, she was sent away to an orphanage in Ireland. Because of her skin color she never fitted in, and she had a hard time finding work. Instead she became a street child, and stole to survive. At the age of 13 she had been caught once too many and she was sentenced to death for stealing. Ireland, at the time, was being colonized by the English Crown, and during the confusion Morgan found a way to escape Ireland on a merchant ship. The merchant ship quickly changed and became a pirate ship instead, and the captain of the ship took Morgan under his wing. When the Captain died, Morgan took control over the ship. Few challenged her position but none had the ability to take it from her. Morgan and her crew became privateers (she’s a corsair) under the French crown, and they attacked English and Spanish merchant ships in the Caribbean.
As France was in war with Spain in Europe (Franco-Spanish War 1635-1659), Morgan was mostly attacking Spanish ships. They sailed from Tortuga, which at that time, was under French administration.

One day going to their secret loot-hiding island, they found the body of an English Navy captain (Nathaniel, my Iplehouse Rex). He was not dead, and they discussed killing him, but Morgan decided they would bring him to Jamaica. They took care of him on the ship, and dumped his body at the monastery.
Nathaniel later found the Pirate Lady again, and they end up fall in love. They discover they are fighting the same enemy (Spain), and consider the possibility of joining forces, and eventually in 1657 the English forms an alliance with the French by signing the Treaty of Paris, which means the English will join the war in Europe and French privateers will join the English in the Caribbean.
