Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases. This ban does not impact any dolls by Dollshe ordered by November 8, 2023. Any dolls ordered after November 8, 2023, regardless of the date the sculpt was released, are banned from this forum as are any dolls released under his new or future companies including but not limited to Club Coco BJD.     Chaeri's name is written 門採莉 in hanja. 門 means "gate" and 採莉 is "gathers white jasmine", so her name could be read as "gathering white jasmine at the town gate".

    Since Chaeri is pronounced the same as the word "cherry", Cherry is a common alternate Anglicized spelling of 採莉. (The word for "cherry" in Korean is actually 桜, beojkkoch. Not a common Korean girl's name, apparently.) She also goes by 리리, Riri. It's a common practice to double a syllable in someone's name as an affectionate nickname.
