I really loved the deep crease between eyes and nose, and those full lips!

Best Points:

That little nose? Those lips? Fairyland's incredible poseability?

Worst Points:

This was my second doll, and in retrospect I would have had her eyes modded open (from a sleeping plate) differently. I'm sometimes dissatisfied with the way they turned out.

Bright colors and pastels! Neena is a cheerful girl, and purples and pinks are among her favorites.

Dresses, skirts, and leggings! The more colorful the better!

Key fashion accessory:

Probably her knitted hat! Neena rarely leaves home without it.

Name story:

I started with "Neena" (her nickname) as a homage to the name my godmother called me when I was little. As her story developed (and her sister got named,) I settled on the Irish Noirin as her actual given name for the ability to extrapolate "Neena" as an affectionate pet name, and also for the way it sounded with her sister's name, Aislinn.

Neena is the youngest witch in a long family of them; her much-older sister Aislinn is both her legal guardian and the leader of a coven of powerful witches. Neena struggles with the most basic spells. It isn't until she inadvertently drags a young dragon into her dimension that the family realizes both the depths of her loneliness and the strength behind her very passive brand of magic.
