Body and head came from separate sellers. Head from Shadowedforce (through Tumblr) and body from Sheromi (here on DOA).

Reason for choice:

I love her expression. Also a character popped into mind when I looked at the doll.

Best Points:

Her face, of course. I'm also fond of her height/size (larger than most 1/3 girls).

Worst Points:

Her whole leg situation is kind of awkward. The body is tough to pose.

Notes: had to do some creative restringing to get her to sit, and to keep her head from flopping around everywhere. I'm not fond of the engineering of this body, especially the legs. It's very pretty, though.

Name story:

Nora is short for Eleanor, Eleanor Frisbe. I originally had her named Lenore, but felt that was too obvious for a ghost, so I went with something similar.

Eleanor Frisbe was murdered by a man who worked for her family. After her death, Nora clung to the living world through an oft-worn locket, using it to anchor herself in an attempt to locate her killer. Unfortunately the locket never wound up anywhere close to the guy, so she eventually had to give up on that goal. Though she'd become a rather powerful entity, she no longer had much of a purpose. In recent years, the haunted locket has come into the possession of a military division responsible for paranormal affairs. Mostly she doesn't mind. She has fun messing with the folks at the base and making them friendship bracelets. She gets along with pretty much everyone.
