Reason for choice:

I had just started in the hobby and was searching for a doll that looked Asian. Vora was the closest I could find then and I liked her smaller, more realistic eyes. Also the boy version reminded me of a young Haley Joel Osment. If I could have conceived of buying two dolls of the same sculpt back then, I probably would have gotten Vora as a boy too.

Best Points:

Simply put, she's a real cutie, with her retrousse nose, slightly open mouth (you can see a glimpse of teeth if you look closely), heart-shaped face and small but somewhat prominent ears. I also do like the smaller eyes. And she has Dollmore quality.

Worst Points:

Perhaps the fact that she is a child. It just seems that no matter how you dress or pose these dolls, they always end up looking somewhat sexy and that's creepy when they represent children.

Name story:

As with most of my mini-size dolls, Odette is named after a character in Marcel Proust's In Search of Lost Time.
