Oestre is the eldest of three daughters and five total children in her family. As a member of the Vigoch family in the Vizsach clan, she has a tremendous amount of responsibility; it is her responsibility to carry on the familial tradition of master tapestry weaving. But she’s constantly feeling the strain between her traditional roots and her modern thinking as she navigates the incredibly nuanced world of higher public education as she simultaneously practices the ancient traditions of her people and chases her dream of a degree in Linguistics.
