Purchased from someone getting out of the hobby. Predates CoAs. The head came with her Elf Shiwoo during the event, and she purchased the body from Fairyland shortly after CP split from Luts. No known recasts exist.

Reason for choice:

I bought him for the body. The hybrid didn't work out. I had planned to sell the head... but I ended up keeping him for the novelty.

Orcus awoke from a flower in the Grand Malvolomaster's garden. How he came to be is a mystery. Even Arkytrope does not seem to know. Nevertheless he adopted the boy. And with good reason. From birth the child was blind. A family as high as the chief of fairies' could provide for him better than any.

He is cursed by colour. Clothes put on him will obtain a brightness, and eventually fade to pastel. Patterns change. Cuts evolve. The cause and cure are also unknown.

Orcus can see in some fashion- a magical form of synesthesia, by which he can observe the world like a sixth sense. But it is too strong to be relied on. Like any synesthetic condition, his observation of surroundings can be overwhelming. He opens his 'third eye' in careful measures.

He is quiet and easy-going, to the annoyance of his sister, Squish. Although he sprouted after she was born, he awoke and matured faster. She never stops reminding him that he is technically younger. He brushes off her teasings with amusement, and can hold his own in a battle of wits.

His relationship is stronger with their elder sister, Mildew, who treats her siblings with kindness. Each is one of the few to stop and listen to the other. It was Mildew who helped him learn braille while their father was away.

Orcus is a favorite of Arkytrope's. Males are a rarity in his house, and he enjoys having a son closeby. Their favorite pastime is reading stories and poetry.

He holds a special place for Storybook, the mismatched creation that sprang from the Malvolomaster's Imaginarium. Outcasts both, they are kindred spirits and seek comfort in one another. Together they slip through Arkytrope's many mirrors to glimpse worlds beyond, but never stray beyond the borders his father has set for them.

It was Orcus who first took a liking to Archmage Arkenesis, and began subtly invading his dreams. Someday he hopes to meet the man, when he and the Malvolomaster are on better terms. Galen knows more about the blind fae than he lets on. But for now they are at a silent stalemate. He too hopes the boy will return one day...perhaps as more than a silent observer.
