Reason for choice:

I loved the face from the moment I saw it, and knew it would be perfect as the brother to my Littlefee Bisou.

Best Points:

I love the color, texture, and feel of the resin. The jointing is very nice, and the doll poses well.

Worst Points:

Because of how slim the doll is, it's hard to purchase clothing for.

The Crobidoll tinies are lovely. I would be happy to have a few more, and the default faceups are absolutely stunning in person.

Name story:

I was stuck on the name Owen and decided that I wanted him to have a middle name that started with an S so that he and his brother would have almost the same initials.

Owen Sebastian is the son of Kim Valentine and Leslie (Hanlon) Valentine, and half-brother to Simon Oliver, and Lorelei. Their shared father is Christian, who was unaware of his sons until the mothers found him on a Gay parenting board. It was an odd random moment where someone made an off-hand remark about how Simon looked like Lorelei, and after some discussion Kim and Leslie realized that Christian was their sperm donor.

Simon Oliver and Owen Sebastian are a few weeks apart, with Owen having the first birthday, April 17th, and Simon's birthday being May 7th. They were both conceived via invitro fertilization, and have been raised like twins, with common donor DNA, and each mother carrying her own child.

Owen Sebastian is a very quiet little boy who tends to be upset by change to routine. He is on behind on most of the developmental milestones and seems to be developmentally delayed. Owen has been diagnosed as being on the Autism spectrum and sees specialists regularly. He gets to visit his biological father somewhat frequently and enjoys finding quiet places to hide from his comparatively hyperactive brother.

Owen is a very sweet if non-verbal boy, who shows preference for quiet dark places, and tends to be a no-touch child, much to the frustration of his doting grandmothers. He tends to be incredibly stressed by his brother's attempts to play or hug, and will run and hide if he is able. Frequently this ends in tears, and one of their mothers will remove Simon, and the other will stay to soothe Owen.
