Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases. This ban does not impact any dolls by Dollshe ordered by November 8, 2023. Any dolls ordered after November 8, 2023, regardless of the date the sculpt was released, are banned from this forum as are any dolls released under his new or future companies including but not limited to Club Coco BJD.     Somewhere in the Volks HQ archive lurks a blackmail-worthy photo of me crying and holding this tiny doll.

    Sei-Tenshi choose you, as the saying goes.

    Just so happens that Head Sculpt C is the only Sei-Tenshi face that I like!

    Wrist hooks are cast into the wrist balls, so her hands can only twist not flex.
    Sei-Tenshi are a small type of Dollfie that is not available for purchase. Volks gives them as gifts at special events, usually by lottery or in some type of game. They have limited jointing, fixed wings in a variety of colors and poses, and an assortment of face sculpts.
    At Tenshi no Sato, Sei-Tenshi are displayed flying as though they are cherubs fluttering around the statue of MotherSD where omukae ceremonies are held. This doesn't really add to the supposed gravitas of the event.

    I made everything myself because that's the only way to clothe a sei.
  • Name story:
    Potnia was the Linear B name for the primary female Mycenean deity, whose iconography appears to date from earlier Minoan times. First mention of Potnia Theron by name comes from Homer.
    I don't collect tiny dolls and there wasn't any way to integrate her into our story, so I decided to indulge my love of Bronze Age archaeology and turn her into a pocket goddess. Her stiff little arms and wings made me think of depictions of Potnia and Archaic images of Artemis.
