Story: Much like her daughter, Queen Fiona met Barbara when they were younger and, despite their social class differences, they became friends. Once Fiona became royalty, she made sure to help Barbara and her family by giving her a job at the castle as her seamstress. Fiona's marriage to Edward III was an arranged one and they do not love one another and have not grown to love one another. As a matter of fact, she detests Edward III but, as he is King and her husband, she tries not to rock the boat. However, she is very protective of her children and tries to shield them from his ways. As such, she allowed Wen and Isolde's friendship to occur and blossom. After the death of her friend Lady Marguerite, she fell in love with Lord Nolan much to King Edward III's ire.
