Reason for choice:

Fell in love with her face from the owner photos of her. The company photos don't do her justice at all.

Best Points:

Resin is smooth and the skintone is pretty much what I was looking for. Her face sculpt and faceup is way more gorgeous than I anticipated and her default hands are quite graceful looking. Double jointed elbows and knees allow for more poses.

Worst Points:

Not the best poser out of the box. The only thing her head does is look down which makes taking photos of her face really difficult. She also doesn't sit up straight by herself and her hands like being in a 90 degree angle all the time.

Rain is the kind of character who I'd like to have occur in multiple verses.

In one possible incarnation, she is a professional model (art, photography, and commercial) and a part-time burlesque and pole dance performance artist. She likes to experiment with fashion and loves costumes and cosplay. Her idea of the iconic fashion accessories include the cone bra, corset and garters, Alexander McQueen's shoes, and towering hair sculptures/wigs.

Romantically speaking, she professes not to believe in marriage and monogamy, but is a diehard secret romantic who longs for a grand passion and a love that will last till old age. She reads trashy romance novels (the trashier and cornier, the better) like they are going out of style. She has just been burned numerous times by cheating men, and has retaliated by refusing to commit to any one man. Currently, she's in a polygamous relationship with a very wealthy businessman and his estranged wife, both of whom she has a love/hate interaction with.

She lives in a time and place where the supernatural and the magical is a present and common phenomenon. Her partners are actually part of a politically powerful werewolf clan. Some of her fellow burlesque performers have genuine psychic gifts and some fake it. Rain actually is a spirit well; her soul has an immeasurable capacity to absorb and store spiritual energy around her, which attracts both good and bad spirits to her. To help guard her, she has contracted both a cat spirit and a dog spirit who basically eat her spiritual energy and keep her soul-well from becoming full and overflow. This minimizes the attraction and attention she gets from the supernatural world.
