I'm glad now that I finally bit the proverbial bullet and bought him. The sculpt really is the perfect Sessus Rao; equal parts total nerd and wise-cracking Imperial adventure-bro. XD

- Oddly, the difficult thing with Rao is getting his hair to look "messy enough" without it looking like I just didn't bother to fix his wig. The tabletop RPG version of the character was an Air Aspect with a high Essence score, meaning that his elemental anima was constantly active in a low-key kind of way. It blew papers off of desks and hats off of heads, made candles flicker wildly... and constantly ruffled people's hair. Especially his own.

Sessus Rao was *supposed* to attend the Imperial school of magic in order to learn combat sorcery to aid his dynastic Great House's legions on the battlefield... What he actually learned while attending the infamous Heptagram was a great deal of Forbidden History, a few Potentially Catastrophic Secrets and the Real Truth about the nature of Creation and exactly who was pulling the Scarlet Empire's strings.
