Reason for choice:

Migidoll's initial release was not widely known and I happened on a customizer who had purchased a head from Migidoll's first ever release. The customizer had moded the face with some very severe horror-mods as a tribute to H.P. Lovecraft. I was taken by the incredibly sweet and innocent face staring at me that seemed to suggest such deep knowledge beneath its exterior and was instantly in love. The more I saw of him, the more I was drawn to him. Another artist received a head and having seen him now twice, in two different settings, my heart was set to capture him. I was pretty much stalking Migidoll's website in hopes she would choose to release him at least one more time, when she finally did!

Sometimes it amazes me how popular he became after this - from a limited released head to the army of Ryu's we now have in the world!

Absolutely everything! His sweet eyes, his slightly tilted head, his gorgeous nose, and his lips... oh, my, gourd! His LIPS! That slight turn at the one side suggesting a smirk? It kills me! *_*

He is from a fantasy world setting, however, all my boys are subjected to wearing suits and the like~ ^_^

Name story:

All my character names are made up. With Rem, I knew I wanted his name to end with "el" to denote his angelic status. He had an identity and back story already, just needed a name that "fit" him. I thought for a long, long time.... a year and a half I believe! Then suddenly, I had it. I really liked the sound of Remy (always have), so I went with different sounds until they just felt right, then added more sounds to see if I liked it... then BAM! I had it.

Then... on a lark about a year later... I chose to google it. Honestly... I didn't know Remiel was an ACTUAL angel name! Ramiel I had vaguely heard of, along with some other variations... but Remiel was a new one. It's actually quite lesser known. I had absolutely no idea until then it wasn't made up!

Slightly more creeped out later when I discovered how close Ramiel's mythology was to the story I had come up with for Rem. I learned a lot about Ramiel from this escapade. ^^;

Personality: Reserved but having a child-like curiosity towards exploration. He is sweet and gentle.

Other: Remiel is an angel who is currently cast on earth with no memories left in tact. He has had a proverbial mind wipe, or what seems to be. He was lucky to run into the demon Bael the moment he arrived in the human world. Bael was just glad to have something to break his boredom. Remiel’s past is unknown, just as his name is unknown. Bael names him Raven and this is what they call the angel until they learn his true name.
