Provenance:

Head was bought on eBay and started my BJD addiction. His Impldoll body proved too paper-white to match his head and too buff to match his character so I ordered a custom coloured Resinsoul body for him.

Reason for choice:

I stumbled upon his auction on eBay and as I'd always wanted a bjd I took the plunge. I won him and the rest is history.

Best Points:

His soft expression. I like the gangliness of his body sculpt.

Worst Points:

His lips can be awkward to blush and because I can't draw eyelid lines I gave him milliput eyelids which aren't perfect.

Name story:

I may have been influenced by Ridley Scott but mostly I just listed names I liked. He is an orphan so in the story his mother said he was "wriggly" before she died and the midwife misheard.

Ridley is an orphan and was chosen for the honour of being sacrificed to a dragon in order to ensure the continued peace and prosperity of his homeland. He was five when he was selected and has lived a very comfortable life for fourteen years but now his time is running out.

He is quiet and kind and takes his duty very seriously. When he meets Erika and is given a chance to change his fate he is at first reluctant as his failure to be sacrificed will mean that Catlin, who he sees as a younger sister, will have to take his place. But if he succeeds, then Catlin will not have to follow in his footsteps in seven years' time. It is for her benefit rather than his own that he joins Erika and Dalena.
