Provenance:

Head bought directly from Souldoll. Body was either bought from Luts or from another member (it's been too long and I don't remember since I had the bod long before I got his head)

Reason for choice:

I went through some back and forths trying to find a suitable headmold for Roin, and after a bunch of nopes (one including Soom's Chrom), I happened upon Souldoll's Hewer and thought he might work. It took a bunch of mods and some adjusting, but he definitely did.

Worst Points:

I get a little thrown sometimes over his head proportions, and it can take a little work to get him to do good on the Delf body since the heads sit differently than a default Luts one would, but other than that, he's good.

Name story:

Roin was the name for a character I created for an Eden storyline that I meant to draw as a manga, to follow after AoG way back in the day, only I never went beyond character design and world building/storyline planning. Fast forward to years ago when Evphaedrielle and I decided to do a co-story and I just revamped the Eden world for it, with the old main character Roin being re-written and designed to be what he to this day.

Eden is a world that once long in the past, was connected to Earth. There was a rebellion and the two worlds were split apart - Earth following its own path (of science) and Eden on its (of magic). Humans became little more than fairy tales and legend in Eden, and while the inhabitants are all magically inclined and feature elfin ears, there's very little tolerance for those who are out of the norm.

Roin is of the Hunter race, descendants of the long thought to be extinct shapeshifters who used to protect the Royal Families before the Rebellion and Great War. His people live in clans, deep in the Wildes and most of them know nothing of the Eden or its people who exist beyond their forests. When Roin hit puberty, an imperfection began to show in his eyes. Once every so many years, a Hunter is born with an imperfection - where instead of their normal solid silver eyes, they develop rings of color. These Hunters are seen as ill omens or bad luck, and are usually cast out or killed the instant the color begins to show. Roin's lifemate hid him for as long as he could when his imperfection developed, but he was discovered eventually and cast from their tribe. His lifemate refused to abandon him, joining him in his exile and eventually, the two ended up on the outskirts of the Wildes only to be ambushed by a Trader Campaign.

After a fight, Roin and his lifemate were captured, muzzled, collared and then sold to different Nobles at an Auction House, as unbeknownst to them, Hunters are rare and exotic pets that only Nobles are allowed to own within the socialite societies of the Provinces. Roin suffered much abuse at the hands of his new "owner" and after months of it, he finally found a way to circumvent the magic that kept him docile long enough to kill his master and escape. Still collared and partially subdued, he wandered in and out of a haze on the very outskirts of the Western Province until he happened upon a cabin owned by Evphaedrielle's Arch. Thinking him to be just another of the monsters in this new world, he attacked Arch - only to find that there was more to the other man than what was being presented, and that he had a secret all of his own...
