Sabellen and her clan brother, Thaedris, are harpies belonging to a deep mountain eerie. Fierce and loyal, of the two of them she is the warrior's spirit. This ruthlessness is tempered by a great curiosity; not only does she desire to learn more of outside culture, she wishes to catalog it as well. Recently, the pair have fallen under the effects of a spell, trading their wings and talons for human limbs. While Thaedris has adapted, Sabellen is wary of man and his ilk. After all, it is men who send the hunters....

The Sh'aabtis have been through so many iterations that profiling them is useless. They are 'flavor' characters I throw into RP and narratives.

*In the Chronicles, harpies are fringe dwellers, less seen in modern society. People who associate with them are mostly merchants, traveling to the borders between territories. Sabellen and Thaedris are exceptions, having chosen to take their trade to the capitol city of Seilune.

*In DnD, Sabellen is a wandering mage. She has become separated from her brother, and assists adventurers crossing their paths. This version is more civilized and scholarly, likely a neutral or lawful good.

*In The Arcana she is a clan hunter, and distrustful of humans. The Sh'aabtis are interwoven with the Devoraks and Lucio, thanks to a curious Apprentice.
