Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases. This ban does not impact any dolls by Dollshe ordered by November 8, 2023. Any dolls ordered after November 8, 2023, regardless of the date the sculpt was released, are banned from this forum as are any dolls released under his new or future companies including but not limited to Club Coco BJD.     Head ordered direct from Impldoll after she disappeared from their site and I thought I'd missed my chance to own her. Body direct from Resinsoul.
    Reason for choice:
    I liked Erica when I was looking for my first girl, but on the Star body she would have dwarfed my 58cm boy at 65cm and I didn't think she'd suit the Model body. Someone gave me the idea of putting her on a Resinsoul body and that was all the push I needed. The new Sophia body grew on me gradually. Its slender style would suit my swordmaster.
    Best Points:
    Hers is the easiest face I've ever faceupped. Her prominent brow makes eyebrows fairly straightforward and she's even pursing her lips. The body is beautiful and slender and quite unique.
    Worst Points:
    Her face looks very piggy blank, poor thing! Her arms are awkward to pose without sueding and getting clothes to fit can be a bit awkward as she's so skinny.
    When I ordered the body I requested the older style legs as I wanted swivel joints. Resinsoul obliged because they are wonderful like that. Pictures of Su on the Sophia body show her with these joints too so I don't know if they updated the new legs. I'm pretty sure the old legs are slightly shorter.

    I originally picked out the name Sabia but I already had too many characters with -a at the end. So I switched to Sabine, influenced somewhat by The Three Musketeers.

    Sabine is Finn's bodyguard and lifelong friend. She was adopted by the captain of the guard who initially mistook the scruffy ginger kid picking fights for a boy. Upon correction he nevertheless stood by his choice and raised her to be a fighter. Since she has spent her life proving herself better than her male peers because merely equal is not good enough, she can seem somewhat aloof and arrogant on first impression. But she is a fiercely loyal friend and would give her life for Finn who she sees as a troublesome little brother she needs to keep out of mischief. She cares deeply for Ridley too, knowing that had it been a girl year rather than a boy one, she could have been in his position, chosen as the sacrifice. For that reason she always pushes herself, trying to be worthy of the opportunity she has been given.

    She didn't mean to fall in love with Ismay. They were just fooling around but it became something more. Sabine knows she will have to let her go. Ismay will be expected to take a husband and become a housewife and mother. Even if Sabine found a man who could make her feel the way Ismay does, she is committed to the royal guard. Becoming a wife would mean giving up everything she's trained for. So for now she clings on to Ismay even though she believes it is selfish and throws herself into her work because she knows one day that is all she will have.
