Saeth is what her dad named her. She stuck and Owen on the end of it because it's a fairly common last name and she needed a last name for her drivers licence and her lease ect.

Saeth is the daughter of Arawn, the welsh ruler of the underworld. He created her because in the new age, people can no longer be brought the underworld through lots of terrifying hellhound-eque creatures and it was stirring up some political trouble for Arawn. Then he mostly sent her to live with humanity so that she could have a greater understanding and appreciation for all they had done and be filled with respect and the wish to help them. It was a great disappointment to him when she really only expressed interest in rock-n-roll and skateboarding.
