Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases. This ban does not impact any dolls by Dollshe ordered by November 8, 2023. Any dolls ordered after November 8, 2023, regardless of the date the sculpt was released, are banned from this forum as are any dolls released under his new or future companies including but not limited to Club Coco BJD.     I love PeaksWoods and have always wanted one of their FOC size girls. When I saw her for sale in the marketplace at a truly great price, I jumped at the chance to bring her home...faded or not!
    Best Points:
    Gorgeous sculpt! And I actually used her old, faded tan skintone to my advantage in her storyline.
    Worst Points:
    Because she is an old doll, her tan skintone has faded unevenly and "greened" a bit like the old tan resin from that early era commonly does.
    I had every intention of correcting her faded tan skintone once I got her home. But I fell so completely in love with her, I could never bring myself to alter her in any way...she's just too gorgeous as she is. So her fading became an integral part of her storyline instead.

  • Name story:
    I knew when I purchased her in the second-hand marketplace that she was a very old tan skin doll from the era where that color faded to a slightly greenish hue. So I worked it into her storyline and gave her an appropriately "faded" name, Second-hand Rose.
