Provenance:

Head purchased secondhand off of Facebook sales group. I am the second owner.

Body purchased secondhand off of DoA Marketplace. Previous owner PacificBlue. I am the third owner.

Reason for choice:

The Iplehouse body is an exact match in skin and physique for the character. Vezeto was chosen primarily because the character had a distinct nose that I -had- to match. His moody little pout was a nice bonus.

Best Points:

THAT NOSE. His face is also incredibly adaptable. Dollclans clearly intended for it to be serious and intense, but with the right faceup and angle he just looks very gentle and pensive. Which is perfect for his character.

Worst Points:

I'm really not fond of the elbow joints on the SID body... I understand the goal, but it actually just looks awkward in practice. There are far better ways to achieve natural double jointing.

Originally conceived as an UTAU voice bank, but kinda floating around doing his own thing as my interest in the program wanes.

Seiji is an android, originally commissioned as a butler, but quickly returned as his AI developed into a deeply insubordinate one. His AI languished, active and aware, on a server for years before being purchased again as a companion bot. He spent the next 2 years slowly adjusting to life in the outside world -- corporeal body, relationships and all. The scars of isolation still haunt him, however. He covers his lack of socialization with a distant demeanor and layers of fine clothing. In reality, he is still incredibly needy, and will cling to the few people he deems fit to open up to. Those lucky enough to get close will tell you he is, in reality, deeply but endearingly awkward.

He currently lives with his new owner, Catherine, and his "sister" Hokuro. He makes a meager living as a vocalist, tied to the in-house band of a local bar. With his status as an android, it's a position he fought tooth and nail for, but it's enough.
