  2. Dollshe Craft and all dolls created by Dollshe, including any dolls created under his new or future companies, including Club Coco BJD are now banned from Den of Angels. Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases. This ban does not impact any dolls by Dollshe ordered by November 8, 2023. Any dolls ordered after November 8, 2023, regardless of the date the sculpt was released, are banned from this forum as are any dolls released under his new or future companies including but not limited to Club Coco BJD.     Reason for choice:
    Shirou was my second doll. I got my first (a DD) from Volks in Kobe while I was on vacation. Once I got home and had a chance to do some more research on dolls I decided to get another. I wanted to get a resin doll and got an amazing deal on an unopened Shiro fullset. I thought he was adorable when I first saw him and couldn't pass up the offer.
    Best Points:
    Definitely the face sculpt. I don't like all of the younger Volks boys, but Shirou looks great especially with the additional face sculpting makeup and more vivid eye makeup. I also switched out the wig with something that suits him better. Volks has some great wigs, but the one that came with him isn't one of them.
    Worst Points:
    He doesn't pose very well. I might change his lip color to something slightly warmer and more neutral too. I don't really care for the glossy pink lips that are common even for the boys with the Volks face-ups.
    The makeup is harder to see in these pics. I'll get some more soon once I set up my studio lighting. 20200726_190334.jpg
