Siduri is Shahari's older sister. The two don't get along so well though. Growing up the girls parents were more than just a little unkind to the two girls. With two drunks for parents who seemed to repeatedly forget that neither of the girls were all that old, at a young age they were exposed to things no children should ever see. Siduri being the oldest girl in the family was the first to suffer the abuse, being "rented out" by both her mother and father to their drunken friends. Siduri isn't the least bit outspoken and suffered in silence, just enduring the terrible things being done to her. Shahari hated watching what was happening to Siduri and spoke up, upon doing so was punished by their parents for stepping out of line. Siduri, instead of standing up for Shar, watched and did nothing out of fear for herself, Shahari, and the rest of their siblings. Shahari got fed up and wouldn't just sit around waiting for things to change so once the girls older brother, Ea, moved out, Shahari was soon to follow leaving the sister who didn't stand up for her to fend for herself. After Shar left, people took notice and realized how awful the living conditions were for the children and the kids were sent into foster care, Siduri included, until her brother Ea came back into the picture and legally became guardian to Siduri, Shahari's twin Ezra, and the youngest of the Glass children, Cailean.
