Provenance:

I am the second owner. I purchased him locally from one of our meets, she purchased him directly from the company.

Reason for choice:

It's a long story. His previous owner wanted a doll that I owned, but only had dolls to trade, and as far as I was concerned, I was really only interested in his body. The company pictures of him were atrocious, so I told her that I'd take him home and see if anything could be done about him. I gave him a custom face up and fell madly in love with him, though he was meant to be a different character. I very (like within the last week) recently decided to turn him into his current character.

Best Points:

His face. I love his facial structure and his smirk.

Worst Points:

He's not supposed to be as big as he is, the character has a slighter build, but the head does NOT look good on anything else... so... he's huge.

Eyes:

Both 12mm unknowns. The left one is a very pale green acrylic, and the right one is a dark blue.

Wig:

Very old Luts DW-12 in White cut and styled and streaked with red.

Blood and blue.

Lol. What fashion style? Arnaedh is... for lack of a better term, gross. He wears bloodstained tunics, armor that he's tugged off of dead bodies and stitched together into something else, furs covered in mud and blood, and paints himself blue (because it makes him scarier).

Name story:

Arnaedh's name was chosen for him and not by me, as he began life as a backstory character for another backstory character. I simply liked him and decided to keep him. His name means "noble wound" and is probably more of a title and less of his actual name (which hasn't been chosen yet, because I'm picky when it comes to elvish).

He's older than before the Dawn of the Sun. A Firstborn, like Arasilme.

Arnaedh is an awful person. I'm not going to sugar coat it. He's probably the worst character that I have out of all the characters that I have, which is an accomplishment, because I love broken and I love insane. He's a worshiper of Melkor, and comes from a clan of Avari (dark elves/elves that have not seen or been to the Undying Lands/Aman/Valinor) that are based loosely on the Irish Picts/Woads. We don't have a lot of information about the Avarin Clans in Tolkien's texts, so much of it was incorporated from my knowledge of Irish Mythology and History.

Arnaedh is the son of the Vala, Nienna (who weeps for the injustices of the world), and a Void beast of Winter and Ice. If he ever found out who his mother was, he would probably laugh so hard that he would have to sit down or pass out. Arnaedh has a twin sister named Annundil that he had an incestuous relationship with and fathered a child, out of spite for his sister's husband, Calon, who dumped him to marry her, because she was the female version of him.

Arnaedh and Calon grew up together and had a casual sexual relationship for several years, however, when he told his friend that he was in love with him when he came of age, Calon broke it off and told Arnaedh that their relationship never meant anything to him. They were just "experimenting" and "fooling around", then very promptly married his sister.

Once married to Annundil, which came as a slap in the face to Arnaedh, Calon continued to taunt and tease Arnaedh about his still remaining obvious sexual feelings for him. He forced him to dance and speak at his wedding, drink the wine he had at his wedding at the wedding, and then on the night of his anniversary years after, he also had no problems "accidentally" allowing Arnaedh to catch him making love to his twin sister in various places around their home.

When Arnaedh's son, Ferennen, was born, Calon immediately knew that he did not belong to him. Calon and Annundil had a previous child, Lairelos, who was nine years older than Ferennen at the time of his birth. Ferennen looked nothing like Calon. Annundil was murdered while attempting to protect her child from Calon, and Arnaedh killed him out of vengeance for the death of his sister. He abandoned Laire, but took Ferennen with him and raised him with him and his new mate, Immoth.
