Received in a trade with DoA User purplekaren for my Sweet Dream Piccolo. He came with COA, and in his Fairyland box.

Reason for choice:

I liked the sculpt, and accepted the trade offer for a doll I had up for sale or trade. I wanted a Littlefee boy.

Best Points:

Posability. Hands down can hold more poses than almost any of my yo-scaled tinies.

Worst Points:

The magnet hands and feet come off too easily.

Initially I wasn't sure how I liked the Bisou sculpt because I'd seen some unflattering owner photos, but I was willing to take a chance on this little guy, and I am really glad that I did. He's got a sweet face, and his character developed really quickly.

Simon Oliver has a few distinct wardrobe pieces but for the most part his clothes are normal toddler or little boy wear.

Name story:

I had the name Simon in reserve but when the doll arrived I determined that I wanted the name Oliver. I decided to give him two first names so as not to confuse him with Osaka's planned doll Oliver. I chose the last name because he arrived on Valentines day.

Simon Oliver is the son of Kim Valentine and Leslie (Hanlon) Valentine, and half-brother to Owen Sebastian, and Lorelei. Their shared father is Christian, who was unaware of his sons until the mothers found him on a Gay parenting board. It was an odd random moment where someone made an off-hand remark about how Simon looked like Lorelei, and after some discussion Kim and Leslie realized that Christian was their sperm donor.

Simon Oliver and Owen Sebastian are a few weeks apart, with Owen having the first birthday, April 17th, and Simon's birthday being May 7th. They were both conceived via invitro fertilization, and have been raised like twins, with common donor DNA, and each mother carrying her own child.

Simon Oliver is a very active little boy who goes until he wears himself out, and is prone to falling asleep in the middle of activities. He is on track with all of the developmental milestones and seems to be a happy average child. He gets to visit his biological father somewhat frequently and enjoys playing with Lorelei.

Simon is a loud, physically affectionate boy, who tends to chase his brother when he wants hugs, and is incredibly persistent even when Owen tries to hide from him. Frequently one of the mothers needs to intervene and will scoop up Simon and have one on one play time to give him the interaction he seeks, while the other will try to soothe Owen.
