Batchix Dolls
Head Sculpt:
Lagoon (artist-cast)
White skin
Lagoon body
  • Face-up artist(s):
    Date of acquisition:
    November 1st, 2015
    First owner
    Reason for choice:
    Batchix's Lagoon body is known for it's poseability, but I wasn't sold on her original faceplate. The artist-cast faceplate, however, I couldn't resist and has cemented her as my grail doll.
    Best Points:
    Her faceplate, for sure, but also the ease in which she holds poses and stands. She's also very expressive: she combines both a sweet clear face with the encapsulated skull. She can be both sweet and terrible simultaneously.
    Worst Points:
    Finding clothes and wigs that fit her properly. Even slim msd clothes are a bit too big.
    As a young girl long ago, Skuld found a shining, shimmering piece of heaven. She kept it and subsequently began to be a locus for dispossessed spirits looking for their afterlife and loved ones. Skuld didn't want to throw the piece of heaven away, nor did she want to be the focus of all these spirits. Not knowing what to do, she swallowed it and it transformed her.

    Skuld is an ageless girl that helps guide spirits; they are drawn to her. The living search her out because, through a mysterious process, it is possible to speak to the dead through her.
  • Eyes:
    default eyes
    Favourite colours:
    Purple, tan, cream, pink
    Fashion style(s):
    International traveler fusion
    Key fashion accessory:
    Her kitty doll
  • Name story:
    It's a pun on her face, a nod to the Norns, and my favorite character in a manga.
    Character age:
    Character gender:
    Identifies as female
    Offsite roleplay:
    This doll's character is not available for offsite roleplay.
    Though she's come to calmly accept her transformation and likes to help, Skuld is insecure about her appearance and usually hides from living people. You can find her in otherworldly and transitional spaces and lure her out by speaking softly and kindly with her kitty doll.

    She has a weakness for capsule toy machines (known as gachagacha in Japan), often patronising them after hours.
