As a young girl long ago, Skuld found a shining, shimmering piece of heaven. She kept it and subsequently began to be a locus for dispossessed spirits looking for their afterlife and loved ones. Skuld didn't want to throw the piece of heaven away, nor did she want to be the focus of all these spirits. Not knowing what to do, she swallowed it and it transformed her.
- Face-up artist(s):
- Batchix
- Date of acquisition:
- November 1st, 2015
- Provenance:
- First owner
- Reason for choice:
- Batchix's Lagoon body is known for it's poseability, but I wasn't sold on her original faceplate. The artist-cast faceplate, however, I couldn't resist and has cemented her as my grail doll.
- Best Points:
- Her faceplate, for sure, but also the ease in which she holds poses and stands. She's also very expressive: she combines both a sweet clear face with the encapsulated skull. She can be both sweet and terrible simultaneously.
- Worst Points:
- Finding clothes and wigs that fit her properly. Even slim msd clothes are a bit too big.
Skuld is an ageless girl that helps guide spirits; they are drawn to her. The living search her out because, through a mysterious process, it is possible to speak to the dead through her.
