Solveig is a Landvættir, in the form of an Ash spirit. Unlike most of her shy, timid kin, however, she is more outgoing and curious, and numbers among the ranks of the Norns. She wanders the countryside visiting newborns and assigning their fates with just her shield for protection. During one of her travels, Solveig came across Nova, a lost satyr child. She decided that he needed someone to care for him, so she decided to take him with her as she wandered from one home to the next. She does not see her self as a mother figure or a nurturer to him, but she always makes sure that he has a comfortable place to sleep and enough to eat.
