Soren is my favorite character from the Fire Emblem game series.
I bought a Yeon-Ho head from Crobidoll in late 2009 for practising faceups. I gave him 2 tries, but never was happy with the results, so I bought another head from Crobidoll, this time with company custom faceup^^

Soren is based on a character of the game series "Fire Emblem". He is the staff officer and strategist of the Greil Mercenaries. He is also a powerful Wind Mage.

Soren is typically rude and painfully blunt, preferring to be alone than with the rest of the company. He acts upon logic and thinks from a cynical viewpoint, putting the feelings or circumstances of others aside if it benefits the mercenaries and suggesting not to help others if it hinders them.

Soren has suffered a lot during the course of his life, having not been raised by his parents (whom he knows nothing of), but rather a grouchy old woman who constantly complained about being stuck with him. At a very young age, the lady sold him to an old sage who mistook him for a Spirit Charmer due to the permanent mark on his forehead. The sage taught him the ways of magic, even though he discovered that the symbol was decietful; it was the mark of a Branded, not a Spirit Charmer. To be Branded means, his parents were Beorc (human) and Laguz (beast). Soren excelled in the magic arts and emerged much better than a child his age should have been. After the sage died, Soren, ignored by the Laguz and deprived of attention and basic needs, wandered Gallia alone and near-death before eventually being discovered by a young Ike. He spent years searching for Ike and finally joined Greils Mercenaries to be near him. Ike is the son of Greil, who became the leader of the mercenaries after his father was killed by the Black Knight.
