The backstory for Tania and Tatiana is that their father was a scientist working on cryogenic tech under the Romanovs and froze his daughters to keep them safe during the revolution. Tatiana was revived first, followed by Tania a year or so later. This means that Tatiana is now a bit younger than her sister even though they are twins!Tania's process of revival went more smoothly and she seems to be adapting better to modern times and is generally happier than her sister.
