Tatiana and Tania's backstory is that their father was a scientist studying cryotechnology for the Romonovs. He froze his daughters to keep them safe during the revolution. Tatiana was revived first, about a year before her sister. Therefore she's about a year older than her sister even though they were twins. Tatiana was revived more or less on accident before the process was well understood so she almost didn't survive and that experience plus having to be without her sister so long has made the transition more difficult for her. She tends to be a bit more reserved than Tania and can be a bit sad sometimes.
