Left alone after his family's village failed and his parents decided they could travel faster without a child in tow, Tenya grew in his jungle, slowly mastering it through the trial and error of learning which mushrooms he should not have eaten, when the best time was to catch fish, and which predators were slow enough to steal from.

He grew tall and weedy, almost a strange and fae creature in his home. Alone for so long, he avoided human contact, becoming something of a legend to the infrequent travelers through his domain.

In time, the goddess of all wild things came to him in the form of a silver rabbit. Not recognizing her, but desiring her beautiful pelt, he chased after her for days, weeks, and months, tireless in her enchanted steps.

When he finally caught her, she revealed herself to him, blessing him with the same spots she wore upon her rabbit fur as a sign of her love before parting with him again.

The magic of her touch eventually began to change him, giving him the ability to take on the forms of the animals he caught. Of these, he kept the horns and hooves, most resonant with him of all the animals - the playful and stubborn Goat.

Many years passed like this, until one day an intruder came to his territory. The Wolf, another child of the goddess. Although initially Tenya sought to repel the Wolf from his lands, he found that he was ancient, and far stronger than he - so instead, they formed an alliance.

Together they protected their lands for hundreds of years, eventually becoming inseparable. The Goat, blessed by the goddess's boundless love, swore his heart to the Wolf. With the Goat's trust, the Wolf was able to draw him out of the jungle, and now Tenya faces a much wider world, with all of its challenges...
