The Eastern Sea is just an offshoot in my old sleeping Ish'talla storyline. Basically I needed a name and reason for this hybrid doll and the Eastern Sea from that story was suiting. (also oops. It did that thing again where she went into the wrong category. She's not 40 some cm, she's actually 28 or so cm)

- I wanted to do something with Bloo's sleeping faceplate and so I made a headback (with permission from MewieFish) to fit on the DC bod I'd bought, which had no purpose at that time beyond 'it's so cool and they are discontinuing it so I must'.

- The crappy headback I made. It works, but it's stoopid, lol. Luckily her hair hides it.

I dyed her bod and the head to match, which took a long time since I specifically wanted spotting as well (so the process was dye batch then splash carefully in certain places to get the darker spots). After that, made the wig to cover the headback and painted her up in gold. I also added 24k gold leaf flakes to ALL OVER HER RANDOMLY because what's a lady of the sea without tacky gold?? I then made the crown and the undies out of findings. She's more or less turned out like I wanted.
