The Lady Madrigal Baker

Maker:
Fairyland
Head Sculpt:
Mio
Skintone:
Beautiful White
Body:
Pukifee
  • Face-up artist(s):
    Fairyland default
    Date of acquisition:
    October 2015
    Provenance:
I'm her first owner She was in-stock at DDE.
    Reason for choice:
She was something of an impulse buy, I admit. I have a natural and tan Mio and the temptation of a WS Mio was too great
    Best Points:
Her size, her posing and her face.
    Worst Points:
Her hands are tricky to take off, which rules out some outfits. But that's a very minor thing. I'd rather that than have them too loose.
  • Eyes:
    Sprouty Doll Chesnut 10mm
    Wig:
    Sweetneat on Etsy
    Favourite colours:
Soft neutrals - browns, soft blues, maroons. Nothing too bright.
    Fashion style(s):
Long flowing skirts/dresses, long coats and boots. Lots of layers.
    Key fashion accessory:
    Go-anywhere boots.
  • Name story:
Madrigal came from the wonderful Anna Madrigal in "Tales of the City." Her last name I borrowed from my favorite Doctor, Tom Baker. And since she's a Time Lord, calling her "Lady" just seemed right.
    Character age:
In Earth years, she's 248. She's on her first regeneration.
    Character gender:
    Female.
    Offsite roleplay:
This doll's character is not available for offsite roleplay.
Maddy comes from one of the oldest Houses on Gallifrey, the House of Jade Dreamers. Like her mother Cassilda, she's a seer, although her ability to see into the future is limited - she only sees bits and pieces of events, with no context. She first left Gallifrey following the Doctor, who she won't admit to having a crush on. She's been his on and off companion, although she often travels on her own with a shapeshifting zeomorph named Kilbey. Her other companions have been her sisters, a young woman from an Earth colony named LaMarr and a Dalek she befriended (yes, befriended!)

She's intelligent, quick-thinking, resourceful, brave, quick-witted and sometimes quite sarcastic and snarky, She doesn't handle stupid very well.
